Career Testing: Facts
WHAT The
Career Testing Program consists of 13 tests, some
of which
measure multiple abilities. They measure everything
that is most useful in helping you pick
a
career
that
fits your natural abilities and personality. They
are specific
enough that
medical students use the program to pick a specialty.
These are performance measures that actually measure your natural talents instead of your opinion or past experience. You won't score higher if you think you have a talent or lower if you think you don't.
HOW
LONG It
takes approximately 3.5 hours to go
through the entire testing process.
WHERE You
do the testing program in the privacy of your home.
HOW All
of the tests are done on paper and are administered by
audio
CDs that guide you
seamlessly through the entire process. All you need to
provide is a quiet place, some pencils and
a
player
for the CDs.
INTERPRETATION is
a two step process:
1) We send test results to you, along
with written
materials and an audio CD that explains the areas we measured.
This
way you have a chance to sit
back, listen to the audio, and look back over your work,
leisure and education experiences in the context of the
various abilities we
measured. Later on, in the telephone conference, you
will
see how the various parts of your profile of abilities
fit together but first we want you to understand
the individual pieces.
2)
You have a one-hour conference with
us, during which
we go over your own unique situation in depth,
talk over
the issues
that you are trying to resolve,
teach
you to understand how your abilities and
your personality
fit together and
suggest
specific careers that will best express your strengths. Most clients do this by telephone. Interpretation can be done in-person in the Washiington D.C. area.

FEE $520
US, paid in full at the time you enroll

OTHER COSTS The
only other cost to you is whatever
your long distance
company charges you when you
call us for your telephone
conference, and return postage when you send your test
back to us.
SHIPPING There
are no extra charges for shipping
or handling if you live in the U.S. or Canada. Overnight shipping is available at extra cost. We ship
by Global Priority Mail to almost all other countries.
