For Young Adults: What would it be like to have a career that
fits you perfectly?
Imagine waking up in the morning with enthusiasm for the new work day, spending your life doing something you care about, involved in work that uses your natural talents.
What would it be like to attain a high degree of success doing what you enjoy?
Many of our young adult clients have put tremendous energy into their education,
and have started a career only to discover that it is a less-than-perfect fit.
Others have had difficulty deciding on their direction. No matter what your circumstances,
chances are that we have helped many people just like you choose a career they
love.
Answering the ultimate question, "What will I do with my life?" is a hit or miss affair for most people. Since only about 10% of professionals say they love what they do for a living, how can you choose a new career or adjust your present direction in the most effective way? How can you sort out all the important questions in a way that leads to choosing work that fits you like a custom-made suit?
Since you spend more time working than doing anything else, making the best possible career choice has an enormous impact on the overall quality of your life.
People who are engaged in satisfying, challenging careers that match their talents and personalities usually achieve a higher degree of success than other people. They are healthier, live longer and tend to be more satisfied with other aspects of their lives.
An ill-fitting career contributes significantly to stress and depression, generates problems in other areas of your life, and has a profoundly negative effect on self esteem. Recent studies have directly linked workplace stress with a higher incidence of colds, which points to a compromised immune system, which points to: your less than fulfilling career may be shortening your life.
